1 cup Fine Sugar
1-2 teaspoons Honey
Pink Food Colorant

1 杯   幼砂糖
1-2 茶匙   蜜糖
粉紅食用色素

Hot Lentil Candy - Easy homemade candies | 甜辣扁豆糖 - 簡易自家製糖果



Hot Lentil Candy
甜辣扁豆糖

Ingredients: (yields about 2 pounds candies)
1 cup Green Lentils, uncooked
3 tablespoons Chilli Flakes
1 teaspoon Dried Cumin, ground
1 teapoon Kosher Salt
3 cups Granulated Sugar
1 cup Dark Corn Syrup
60 gram Unsalted Butter
2.5 tablespoons Baking Powder
1/2 cup Water, room temperature
2 tablespoons Flour (for dusting, optional)


材料:(做約兩磅份量)
1 杯   綠扁豆
3 湯匙   乾辣椒碎
1 茶匙   茴香籽
1 茶匙   鹽
3 杯   糖
1 杯   玉米糖漿
60 克   無鹽牛油
2.5 湯匙   泡打粉
1/2 杯   溫水
2 湯匙   麵粉 (裹糖果用, 隨意)

How to make Cornflake Wreath Cookies




My oven is certified.  Yes, just right before Christmas, my beloved oven went to RIP and I needed to bake some dessert for a family party for tomorrow.  This recipe saved me.  A 5-minute-stir plus 15 more minutes to form the shapes and to decorate.  These impressive cookies were born.  Anyone who needs to make some last minute cookies, here is the recipe:


Cornflake Wreath Cookies

Ingredients: (make 2-4 wreaths)
3/4 cup Unsweet Cornflakes
3/4 cup White Chocolate Chips
1/2 tablespoons Dried Cranberries, diced
Green Food Colorant


材料:(做約2﹣4個)
3/4 杯   無糖粟米片
3/4 杯   白朱古力粒
1/2 湯匙   紅越莓,切小粒
綠色食用色素

How to make Sea Glass Candy WITHOUT A THERMOMETER (beach theme party recipe)



There was lots of sea glass on the beach where we once lived and my boy used to love picking it up.  He loves fish and ocean so it's easy for me to come up with an ocean theme party for his two year old birthday.  This candy is for the guests and for sure it will be a hit.  After making this candy many times, I already need not have a thermometer, as long as I keep a close eye on the syrup.

I hope you will try this recipe out and have as much fun as I have making it, and forget the thermometer too.


Sea Glass Candy

Ingredients:
1 cup Sugar
1/3 cup Corn Syrup
6 tablespoons Water
Green or blue food colorant


材料:
1 杯   糖
1/3 杯   栗米糖漿
6 湯匙   水
綠色/藍色食用色素

Candied Chestnuts | 糖漬甘栗 

Ingredients:
5 pounds Chestnuts (I prefer Italian and Korean, but you can certainly use others)
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1.5 cups White Sugar
1 cup Water (but it should be enough to cover all chestnuts on the first day)
1 tablespoon Vanilla Paste


材料:
5 磅   栗子 (我用義大利和韓國栗子)
